What's the permit price and procedure?
PRICE
It varies from USD 760 to USD 1200 plus a fee if you buy it through us, according to the pre-sale -if available-nationality, route, and departure date. It's not included in the expedition price. Or at a higher price -not confirmed yet by the Park- if you buy later through us or on your own.
The Park reserves the right to change the permit price and procedure without notice; Acomara does not take responsibility if any change on the permit price and procedure.
PROCEDURE 90 days in advance
Acomara does all the paperwork in advance only, for all customers who complete who complete the following steps until 90 days before departure, or pre-sale deadline if corresponds.
1. Send the payment price plus an administrative fee of 7% by USDT or 10.8% by Bank)
2. Complete and upload all required information at Personal Data in the Dashboard
Can I buy the permit in advance directly from Aconcagua Park?
No, the permit is not available to buy online. Aconcagua Park has only authorized a small group of companies to acquire permits in advance for their clients, paid in advance only.
What happens if I do not buy the permit on pre-sale or 90-day in advance?
You must buy the permit in advance -a minimum of 3 working days-; it must be purchased in person at the Park offices through the following steps:
Steps 1-5 will be fulfilled trhough Acomara. Steps 6-10 are under the climbers responsablility.

Please ask us for company info, and expedition details - Print all the documents the system will give you after filling up
Include a Passport copy - Get the coupon to pay
Permit price varies every day according to currency conversion - Exchange money
The permit is payable only in CASH in argentine pesos - Find an authorized payment office
Check open bank hours in advance - Deliver the payment receipt in person at the Park offices or Acomara
After this point, you obtain your permit - Go to the Park offices on the next working day to ask if your permit is ready to deliver
It takes at least one working day to have it ready to deliver - Deliver your permit to your guide on Day 1 of your program
IMPORTANT:
- Park offices and payment offices may have long lines to wait; please be patient
- Park offices don't take payments; they do not handle any payment
- Only CASH payment is accepted in argentine pesos (USD not accepted)
- Credit Cards are not accepted for permit payment
- Don't forget to check the open hours of each specific date, usually working days only
Acomara doesn't have the chance to get the permit for climbers who didn't get it in advance. If a climber doesn't have the permit on Day 1, the Park will not allow them to enter, and it will be considered a cancellation from the client-side. Non-refundable, non-reschedule.
