Is the returning night included?
Yes, it's included at the end of the expedition in Penitentes, not in Mendoza City. The expedition ends as follows:
Penultimate day (Plaza de Mulas / Penitentes):
- descend from Plaza de Mulas base camp
- transfer from Park entry to Penitentes
- wait for luggage carried by mules while resting and taking a hot shower
- dinner, and hosting in our lodge in Penitentes
It includes: breakfast, lunch, dinner, and hosting
Last day (Penitentes / Mendoza):
- breakfast
- transfer from Penitentes to Mendoza City
- end of services
Nobody knows when the expedition will end; it's subject to weather conditions and the guide's criteria. The itineraries are a guideline only; 70+ % of our expeditions follow the itineraries, while 30% do not. The expeditions may end sooner or later than the days detailed in the itinerary. The services will always end one day after the group leaves the Park—no compensation nor refunds for early descent.
