How much weight do we carry on the mountain?

Usually, 30-44lbs (14-20Kg), it will depend on the personal equipment of each one.

The loads are divided into two parts:

Up to 4300m/14000ft (Plaza de Mulas / Plaza Argentina)
From 4300m/14000ft (high camps)

1. Our mules will carry all the loads to the base camps Confluencia, Plaza de Mulas, and Plaza Argentina, round trip. There you will only have to carry your daypack (35L) with lunch and water to consume during the afternoon, in addition to your wallet, sunscreen, camera, etc.

2. Unlike other companies, our Full expeditions include porters to transport tents and garbage and kitchen equipment, fuel, first aid kit, oxygen tubes, toilet paper, other items, waste of bath, and part of the meals. The climbers will collaborate by carrying some food during the acclimatization treks (when they do not have to carry their equipment). They will have to take their personal equipment when they move from one camp to another, and if necessary, they will also carry a small amount of water to 1-2 camps (only in exceptional cases that there is no snow to melt). Optionally, personal porters can be hired to carry the equipment of each climber, with an additional charge, available only in advance. Lite expeditions do not include porters, and the climbers will carry it.
