What is the group size, and how many guides?

NUMBER OF GUIDES

We provide at least 1 highly experienced professional guide for every 3 climbers, with this strong ratio applying during the summit attempt, when support and safety management matter most. Most guides join the group from Mendoza city, while one additional guide usually joins at high altitude to provide extra support for the summit push. Our guides have a minimum of 5 years of Aconcagua experience, speak English, hold AAGM or EPGAMT certifications, and are legally authorized by the Park authorities.

GROUP SIZE

Our expeditions usually average only 6–7 climbers per group, allowing for a closer, safer, and more personalized expedition experience. Groups are generally limited to 11–13 climbers, with 4–5 guides during the summit attempt. If a group reaches 14 climbers, we divide it into two smaller teams, maintaining an excellent guide-to-climber ratio.
