Services - Aconcagua Mountain Guides

Our team of Aconcagua guides has an invaluable experience in expeditions and jobs in High Mountain. With them, we have developed our programs and their logistics. Also, with them, you will be able to enjoy the mountain with the utmost security.
To guide an expedition to the Mount Aconcagua or an adventurous trip through the Continental Ice requires skilled guides, who have experience in High Mountain and are capable of managing the standards of work and security.
Our employees have been carefully selected and trained, under the standard of quality our clients deserve and need. All of them guarantee their formal training in working with groups, through their vast experience and their careers. Instructed by the Mendocinean School of Guides of High Mountain and Trekking (EPGAMT) for a period of two years, or the national exam of the Argentinean Association of Mountain Guides (AAGM).
Acomara - AconcaguaExpeditions.com provides a guide every three or four clients in its expeditions, which allows the group to be completely assisted in every time and every place. If for any particular reason a member of the group needs to descend or to take a slower pace, he or she will be always accompanied by one of our guides.
Apart from the regular equipment the guides carry with them: VHF radio, a complete emergency kit with specific medicines for altitude sickness, rope, altimeter, digital oximeter and professional clothing and equipment.
Our staff’s abilities and knowledge, together with our qualifications to organize expeditions, place us as the most serious choice when deciding upon the reliability of your adventure in charge of TRUE PROFESSIONALS.

Daniel Pizarro y Gustavo Pizarro - EPGAMT
Daniel PizarroTwo inseparable brothers whom we are proud of and it is a pleasure for us to have their experience supporting our expeditions. They are High Mountain guides, Andimism Instructors, and private rescuers, who have devoted their life to mountaineering. Their name is a symbol of true professionalism in mountain and although they have climbed Cerro Torre and Fitz Roy Mt. in winter, the Mount Aconcagua is their true home. Throughout the years they have carried out a total of 24 summits through different routes, such as the dangerous South Wall and the Polish Glacier in winter, Gustavo Pizarrospending the night on the top. In Peru, the Nevado of Taulliraju (19,100 ft.) in Cordillera Blanca (White Mountain Range) knew their name with a new and adventurous route. Their passion led them through all the Andean Peaks, from Equatorial Volcanoes to Ushuaian Glaciers. And above all, in our city, important awards feature them as icons of Andinism.

Her passion drove her to go over the most important mountains in the Central Andes adding importance to her experience. Due to her eagerness to improve and train herself, this summer, she chose one of the most difficult routes of the mount: the legendary Polish Glacier. A forbidden route for those mountaineers that lack the courage to accept new challenges. Thus, we will soon be able to have among us this new guide in our expeditions to Aconcagua mountain.
